We're hiring a K-beauty Account Manager to own the day-to-day relationship and trading performance for our Korean beauty clients. You'll be the connective tissue between the brand, our internal teams (content, LIVE, affiliate, paid) and, where relevant, partners and stakeholders based in Korea. You'll need to operate comfortably in both English and Korean, in writing and in conversation, because a good chunk of this job is translating between a Korean brand HQ and a London trading team without anything getting lost.

What you'll do

  • Own a portfolio of K-beauty client accounts end to end: the relationship, the weekly GMV number, and everything that gets you there.
  • Run weekly trading reviews with clients, reporting on performance against target and agreeing the next moves.
  • Brief and coordinate somerce's internal teams (content, affiliate, LIVE, paid media) so every account runs as one funnel, not five disconnected workstreams.
  • Act as the primary liaison for Korean-speaking brand contacts and, where needed, Korea-based stakeholders, in both Korean and English.
  • Support hero SKU strategy, pricing, promo calendars and stock planning alongside the shop operations team.
  • Localise and quality-check Korean-to-English and English-to-Korean communication across briefs, reporting and client-facing materials.
  • Spot growth opportunities within existing accounts and help build the case for scope expansion.
  • Keep forecasts live and accurate, with assumptions stated, so nobody is ever surprised by a number.

What we're looking for

  • Native or bilingual proficiency in Korean, spoken and written, to a professional standard.
  • Fluent, professional English, spoken and written.
  • Experience in account management, client services or brand management, ideally in ecommerce, retail, beauty or social commerce.
  • Comfortable owning a number and being accountable for it week to week.
  • Confident presenting to clients and managing multiple stakeholders at once.
  • Genuine interest in K-beauty and in how the category is winning on TikTok Shop.
  • Organised under pressure: this is a fast-moving, multi-account role with weekly reporting cadence.
  • Based in or able to commute to London; happy working from our N7 office as part of a hybrid setup.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with TikTok Shop, TikTok LIVE, or a livestream commerce platform.
  • Existing relationships or experience working with Korean beauty brands or distributors.
  • Familiarity with GMV, ASP, CVR, AOV and other ecommerce trading metrics.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary, benchmarked to experience and performance.
  • Performance-related bonus / commission aligned to commercial impact.
  • 28 days holiday + bank holidays.
  • Hybrid working with offices in London and Manchester.
  • Flexible working hours – we care about output, not clock-watching.

Growth & Career Development

  • Clear progression paths with responsibility early.
  • Regular performance reviews focused on development and impact.
  • Direct exposure to high-growth brands across the UK, US and EU.
  • Opportunity to work at the cutting edge of TikTok Shop and social commerce.

Financial & Lifestyle Perks

  • Company pension scheme.
  • Monthly wellness allowance (gym, fitness, mental wellbeing or similar).
  • Team socials and events throughout the year.
  • Staff discounts across our brands and partners.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, high-ownership culture.
  • Minimal bureaucracy and maximum accountability.
  • Surrounded by people who care about performance, creativity and doing things properly.
  • A business that wins with its clients, shared success matters.

The Somerce Difference

  • We trust our people.
  • We move quickly and back good ideas.
  • You’ll have real influence, not just responsibility.
  • If you perform, you’ll grow, simple as that.
