Somerce is a TikTok Shop Agency working with 70+ global brands across beauty, FMCG and wellness. We're hiring a Content Creator to own video content end to end, from concept through to shoot, edit and delivery. You'll split your time between content for the agency's own channels, adverts, and building out the founder's personal brand. This is a hands‑on creative role for someone who lives in the edit suite and is just as comfortable behind a camera.

What you'll do:

  • Shoot and edit short‑form social content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) for Somerce and the founder's channels
  • Produce UGC‑style and direct‑response adverts for paid social, built to convert, not just to look good
  • Build out Joe Yates' founder personal brand: talking‑head content, behind the scenes, podcast, event and keynote coverage, and clips from longer thought‑leadership material
  • Cover live commerce shoots, events and studio days, often at pace and on location
  • Own the full pipeline: concept, capture, lighting and audio, edit, captions, light motion graphics and delivery
  • Repurpose long‑form footage (keynotes, lives, podcasts) into a steady stream of short‑form clips
  • Keep a consistent posting cadence against a content calendar
  • Stay ahead of platform formats and trends and bring ideas to the table, not just execute briefs

What we're looking for:

  • A proven track record self‑shooting and self‑editing short‑form content, with a showreel or portfolio to back it up
  • Strong editing skills (Premiere Pro, DaVinci, CapCut or similar; After Effects a plus)
  • A real eye for TikTok‑native, platform‑first content rather than repurposed TV ads
  • Confidence directing on camera and handling lighting and audio basics solo
  • Comfort working at high volume and fast turnaround without dropping quality
  • Self‑starter who can run a shoot and a posting schedule with minimal hand‑holding

Core Benefits:

  • Competitive salary, benchmarked to experience and performance
  • Performance‑related bonus / commission aligned to commercial impact
  • 28 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Hybrid working with offices in London and Manchester
  • Flexible working hours– we care about output, not clock‑watching

Growth & Career Development:

  • Clear progression paths with responsibility early
  • Regular performance reviews focused on development and impact
  • Direct exposure to high‑growth brands across the UK, US and EU
  • Opportunity to work at the cutting edge of TikTok Shop and social commerce

Financial & Lifestyle Perks:

  • Company pension scheme
  • Monthly wellness allowance (gym, fitness, mental wellbeing or similar)
  • Team socials and events throughout the year
  • Staff discounts across our brands and partners

Work Environment:

  • Fast‑paced, high‑ownership culture
  • Minimal bureaucracy and maximum accountability
  • Surrounded by people who care about performance, creativity and doing things properly
  • A business that wins with its clients, shared success matters

The Somerce Difference:

  • We trust our people
  • We move quickly and back good ideas
  • You’ll have real influence, not just responsibility
  • If you perform, you’ll grow, simple as that
