About Somerce

Somerce is a TikTok Shop specialist agency. We drive GMV growth for some of the fastest-growing beauty, fashion, lifestyle and FMCG brands in the UK, US and EU. We run three service lines: TikTok Shop Affiliate, TikTok Live, and Content. Across those, we manage trading strategy, affiliate and influencer programmes, live commerce, creator content and paid media. Our clients include Unilever, Free Soul, Huel and many more. We've scaled from founding to 50+ FTE in under two years. Influencer is one of our most commercially important and fastest-growing service lines.

The Role

We're hiring a Head of Influencer to lead the day-to-day delivery and team management of Somerce's Influencer function. This role sits underneath the Influencer Marketing Director and owns the operating engine that powers our TikTok Shop affiliate programmes and wider influencer activity for clients. You'll line‑manage the influencer managers and executives, own the quality and pace of delivery across the client portfolio, and be the senior operational voice on influencer in client meetings. Your time will split roughly 60% leading the team and overseeing client delivery, 30% on senior creator and talent‑management relationships, and 10% on strategic input to the wider function.

This is a role for someone who has already built a deep operating understanding of TikTok Shop affiliates and creator partnerships, who is ready to lead a team rather than execute individually, and who wants to be the operating engine behind a fast‑growing influencer function.

What you will do

  • Team Leadership & Delivery
    • Line‑manage the influencer managers and executives across the client portfolio
    • Run weekly team standups, 1:1s and performance reviews
    • Set the operating rhythm for the function, including outreach targets, response times, creator pipeline quality and reporting cadence
    • Hold the bar on quality and pace across every active client programme
    • Coach and develop the team's commercial confidence with creators, particularly on briefing, negotiating and managing performance conversations
    • Support the Influencer Marketing Director on hiring, onboarding and capability development
  • TikTok Shop Affiliate Programmes
    • Oversee delivery of affiliate programmes across the client portfolio, ensuring every account is properly resourced and performing against its GMV targets
    • Own creator tiering and segmentation across Halo, Macro, Star and Micro affiliates
    • Set commission, sample and incentive strategy in line with each client's margin profile
    • Lead on marquee and high-priority creator partnerships, including outreach, contracting and ongoing relationship management
    • Manage Somerce's TikTok Shop platform relationships day-to-day, including TAM communication, KLS approvals and platform-side opportunities
    • Drive continuous improvement in creator yield, including GMV per creator, conversion rate, retention rate and reactivation
  • Wider Influencer Activity
    • Lead delivery of wider influencer briefs beyond TikTok Shop, including gifted campaigns, paid partnerships and ambassador programmes
    • Run senior creator and talent‑management relationships, particularly where commercials are complex or marquee-tier talent is involved
    • Own the briefing, contracting and creative approval process across wider influencer activity
    • Ensure all activity ties back to commercial outcomes for the client, not just impressions or engagement
  • Client Accountability
    • Act as the senior influencer voice in client meetings across the portfolio
    • Partner with Account Directors and Account Managers to ensure influencer activity is integrated into the wider trading and content strategy
    • Lead influencer‑specific sections of QBRs, monthly reviews and strategy presentations
    • Support new business pitches with strong influencer strategy and case studies
  • Operations, Process & Reporting
    • Own the operational systems and processes that power the function, including CRM, outreach tooling, contract management and reporting
    • Continuously refine the influencer playbook so the team's best practice is documented and scalable
    • Own weekly and monthly reporting on influencer performance, both internally and to clients
    • Manage creator commercials within agreed guardrails and flag escalations to the Influencer Marketing Director

Qualifications

  • Senior influencer operator. You've worked in TikTok Shop affiliate or creator partnerships at Senior Manager or Head‑of level, and you're ready to step up into a Head‑of role with full team ownership.
  • TikTok Shop fluent. You understand affiliate mechanics, GMV Max, FBT, KLS and the day‑to‑day reality of running creator programmes at scale.
  • People manager. You've line‑managed at least 2-3 direct reports and you enjoy the coaching and development side of leadership.
  • Commercially sharp. You understand the unit economics of creators, you can structure a commercial that protects client margin, and you can have hard conversations with talent about performance.
  • Calm under pace. You can hold a portfolio of moving programmes without losing the plot, and you can prioritise hard when everything feels urgent.
  • Network. You bring existing creator and talent‑management relationships you can plug into the portfolio from day one.
  • High standards. You care about the quality of the work, the speed of the response and the experience clients have with the function.

  • Performance‑linked bonus structure
  • Hybrid working from our central London or Manchester office (3 days per week)
  • 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, with additional days for tenure
  • Regular team socials & events
  • Direct exposure to the leadership team and the commercial running of the business
  • A front‑row seat to the fastest‑moving channel in commerce
