We are looking for a Senior Retail Delivery Lead to work alongside the founders and take senior ownership of key projects during a period of growth. This role is perfect for someone who has overseen store rollouts for ambitious consumer brands, balancing design, delivery, and contractors to get great spaces open smoothly, on time and on budget.

Alongside this, you’ll bring commercial judgement and operational credibility to support delivery across our wider work with landlords and councils, including placemaking projects and strategic advisory. You’ll be the calm, credible presence leading complex delivery and maintaining the quality our clients expect - the kind of person clients trust and founders can rely on to get things over the line.

WHO WE ARE

Someday Studios is a London-based consultancy helping independent brands and forward-thinking landlords create standout physical spaces. Founded by two retail experts with experience across hundreds of stores, we are a small, ambitious team working across brand strategy, placemaking, and retail delivery. We work with cult brands like Beauty Pie and By Rotation, alongside councils and landlords on projects like Borough Yards, delivering pop-ups and permanent spaces that people actually want to spend time in. We are growing, and we need someone senior to help lead delivery across some of our key projects, and help us define what comes next.

WHY YOU WANT TO WORK FOR US

  • Senior ownership of high-profile projects with brands and landlords people actually care about
  • Autonomy to shape how work gets done
  • Flexible hours and hybrid working

YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Support end-to-end store launches for brands, working as an extension of client teams from planning through opening and early trading
  • Keep complex projects moving: turning retail strategy into clear plans across format, operations, suppliers, timelines and budgets
  • Act as senior client contact for landlords, councils, and brand founders, maintaining credibility and trust
  • Support Borough Yards delivery and commercial decision-making, advising on deal terms, pricing, and commercial structures for leasing and brand partnerships
  • Support business development with deck preparation, opportunity assessment, and client relationship building
  • Bring senior judgment to strategic decisions - acting as a sounding board to founders on new opportunities and commercial direction

ABOUT YOU

  • 8-12+ years' experience in retail consultancy, placemaking, property, brand-side retail, or design-led agencies
  • Commercially sharp, with strong financial and strategic judgement
  • Experience delivering complex projects end-to-end, and can talk us through a recent store opening: what you owned week-by-week, what went wrong, and how you fixed it
  • Confident working with a range of senior stakeholders: landlords, councils, and founders
  • Genuinely interested in brands, retail, and physical space
  • London-based, available for at least 1 day a week at Borough Yards and flexible for client meetings

THE DETAIL

  • Part-time (2-3 days per week), fixed-term with potential to become permanent
  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience
