We are looking for a highly experienced Kotlin Engineers to join a front‑office engineering team building a next-generation cloud‑hosted issuance platform for Investment Banking Capital Markets. The platform supports real‑time bookbuilding workflows for global debt and equity issuances, replacing a legacy system with a modern, scalable architecture designed for high availability, resilience, and rapid delivery of business functionality. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Kotlin
- Collaborate closely through mob programming and shared development practices
- Deliver small, incremental, testable changes with high code quality standards
- Contribute across the full software lifecycle including development, integration, deployment, and production support
- Improve platform resilience, observability, and operational stability
- Support production systems with strict availability and correctness requirements
- Continuously refine architecture and codebase through refactoring and clean code practices
- Work closely with engineers, product stakeholders, and business users in a front‑office environment.
Key Requirements
- Strong commercial experience developing backend applications in Kotlin
- Deep understanding and practical experience with Extreme Programming (XP) methodologies, including:

- Strong experience building and operating cloud-native systems on GCP / enterprise cloud platforms, including:
- GKE and/or Cloud Run

- Experience working within CI/CD pipelines and mature SDLC processes
- Comfortable working in regulated enterprise environments with strong governance and quality standards
- Experience supporting business-critical production systems
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
