Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Analyst to support the Corporate Lending / Wholesale Banking business, focusing on financial modelling, credit analysis, and pricing support. This role involves working closely with Pricing SMEs and business stakeholders to enhance and maintain existing lending and pricing models built in Excel and VBA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in advanced Excel-based modelling and automation, along with a solid understanding of credit and lending products.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Pricing SMEs and Credit teams to support deal pricing and structuring for corporate lending transactions
- Maintain and enhance existing financial models and pricing tools built in Excel and VBA
- Develop and optimize Excel-based analytical solutions for credit and lending use cases
- Perform credit analysis and financial statement analysis for corporate borrowers
- Build and update cash flow models, valuation models, and scenario analysis frameworks
- Automate processes and improve efficiency through VBA-based solutions
- Work on large and complex Excel workbooks, ensuring accuracy and performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical modelling solutions
- Ensure proper documentation, transparency, and usability of models
Key Requirements
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel (Office 365)
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Writing VBA code from scratch
- Working with advanced Excel functions like LAMBDA, LET, XMATCH
- Building and managing Dynamic Array formulas
- Creating and maintaining complex, large-scale Excel models
- Experience using and integrating Excel add-ins
