The Opportunity

This is a key technical position responsible for planning and coordinating grid connections to support EV charging infrastructure, renewable integration, and wider site expansion projects across a national portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess grid capacity and develop connection strategies
  • Liaise with DNOs and National Grid to secure and manage connections
  • Design electrical infrastructure for new and existing sites
  • Support EV charging and renewable energy integration projects
  • Provide technical input into feasibility, planning and construction
  • Ensure compliance with UK energy regulations and safety standards
  • Act as technical lead with internal and external stakeholders

About You

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or similar
  • Proven experience in grid planning or energy infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of UK electricity networks and DNO processes
  • Experience with EV charging or renewables desirable
  • Strong analytical, project management and stakeholder engagement skills
