Solv Talent is retained by a high-growth, premium consumer brand as it looks to appoint a Head of Acquisitions to help shape the next phase of its property expansion. This is a rare opportunity to join an upmarket business with an established national retail footprint and a highly recognisable brand, now entering a significant period of growth across the UK. The business currently operates nearly 200 locations and has a clear expansion plan to open 30+ new sites per year, scaling further over the next three years. This role will play a central part in delivering that growth.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Property Director, the successful candidate will take responsibility for driving acquisition strategy across the UK estate. This role combines strategic thinking with deal execution, helping the business answer the key question: Where should we open next - and why? You will work closely with property agents, lead the evaluation of new locations, and present opportunities to the senior leadership team. This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking commercially about places, markets and brands, not simply progressing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving location strategy and expansion planning
- Identifying and evaluating new site opportunities
- Managing and directing external acquisition agents
- Negotiating commercial lease terms
- Assessing location viability, demographics and competition
- Presenting opportunities to the property board and senior leadership team
- Working cross-functionally with operations, finance and brand teams
The Person
