Landlord & Tenant Expert (Senior Surveyor to Director level considered) West Midlands Flexible Working | Monday Office Based Senior Surveyor / Associate / Director Level

SolvTalent is engaged on an exclusive basis by a highly respected boutique property consultancy to appoint an experienced Landlord & Tenant Surveyor into their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a quality-led practice that works directly with major institutional asset managers and investment funds, advising on a broad range of landlord & tenant and asset management matters across commercial property portfolios.

The business has built an outstanding reputation within the market and is known for delivering high-quality strategic advice rather than high-volume transactional work. Their client base includes leading institutional investors and asset managers, with exposure to premium assets and complex instructions across the UK.

The Opportunity

This role is ideally suited to an experienced L&T professional who is capable of operating autonomously from day one and enjoys working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. You will advise institutional clients on matters relating to:

  • Lease renewals
  • Rent reviews
  • Asset management initiatives
  • Buy/sell transaction support
  • Strategic landlord & tenant advice across commercial portfolios

The position offers genuine flexibility and could suit someone looking for a long-term platform to grow within a highly regarded independent practice.

About You

My client is keen to speak with individuals who can demonstrate:

  • Proven Landlord & Tenant surveying experience
  • The ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong commercial awareness and client-facing capability
  • Existing institutional client exposure or transferable relationships
  • MRICS qualification preferred

For individuals operating at Director level, the ability to generate and develop business would be highly advantageous.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Access to high-quality institutional client work
  • Flexible working environment with strong work/life balance
  • Boutique, quality-focused culture
  • Opportunity to make an immediate impact
  • Open to all levels - from senior surveyor to Director
  • Both full-time and part-time arrangements considered

The wider business consists of an established team of around 15 professionals, including a dedicated Landlord & Tenant and Asset Management division. This is a rare opportunity to join a respected independent consultancy where quality of work, flexibility, and long-term growth are genuinely prioritised. For a confidential discussion, please get in touch directly.
