We are looking for a skilled electrical assembly operative who has extremely strong wiring, crimping and soldering skills for an electronic engineering company in Rugby.

This is a shop floor-based role where you perform electrical fitting work on large lasers used in the research sector. There is a massive focus on wiring, crimping, soldering and following schematics, so we do need someone who is a master of these skills (and there will be a trade test).

Whilst this role is 80% electrical, there may be some mechanical assembly such as building frames or pipework for cooling systems. It’s Monday to Friday working 08:30 - 17:30 with an early Friday finish and a stable, secure role.

This is NOT a trainee role - we can only process candidates who are local to Rugby, have a solid CV showing commitment to an employer and extremely strong wiring, crimping and soldering skills.

This role offers you:

  • £28K - £30K annual salary (paid hourly and depending on your level of wiring, crimping and soldering skills).
  • Lots of support from a great manufacturing manager.
  • Job security.
  • The chance to work on some of the very latest technology.
  • A nice career ladder to climb.

APPLY NOW if you feel that this is the perfect job then you need to apply, just respond back with your CV clearly showing all the electrical assembly experience needed and we will be in touch. Everyone will receive a reply but please do ensure your CV is relevant - trainees or candidates with zero experience will not be considered.
