We are looking for someone who knows the fabrication world of sheet metal, from laser cutting to fettling, press brakes, paint, and the most important part, MIG & TIG welding.
What you will be doing:
- Leading the shop floor to ensure projects are completed on time, resolving issues as they come up.
- Be the technical point for colleague questions.
- Manage stock to ensure you have enough parts for projects.
- Alongside the usual points of H&S, minimise downtime, training new staff members, etc.
To be considered:
- The bulk of this role will be focused on welding, so a strong fabrication background is essential.
- Knowledge of other fabrication processes such as press brakes, laser cutting, etc.
- Able to read engineering drawings.
- Previous experience in a leadership role is ideal.
