Are you an experienced Estimator with a working knowledge of the engineering sector?
We\’re working with a well-established precision engineering company in the LE8 area that is experiencing going growth, so now they\’re looking for a mechanically minded Estimator who can confidently manage project costings, liaise with suppliers and support the engineering team with commercially sound decisions.
In Short You Will Be
- Preparing accurate cost estimates for complex projects, materials, labour and timelines.
- Assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Interpreting technical drawings and work with engineers.
- Sourcing component pricing and manage cost databases.
- Ensuring all estimations match customer expectations and budgets.
What We Need From You
- A proven background in estimating within engineering or industrial manufacturing
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to break down technical requirements
- Familiarity with production processes, supply chains and technical specs.
- The confidence to take ownership of estimating responsibilities from day one.
