We are looking for experienced CNC setter/operators who are looking to expand their skills, learn new machines and can commit to a rotating shift within a busy aerospace company in Wigston.
Initially you will be operating machinery to produce high-end intricate aerospace components. You will be trained how to set these specific CNC machines, working to both quality and production targets.
Initial Training
Your initial training is on fixed days (average 2 – 4 weeks), then moved to the rotating shift pattern. While training you will be on £15.70, then once on the weekend pattern moved up to £19.63.
Even though you will be trained on new CNC machinery, we are only looking for people with a strong background as a setter/operator on Milling or Turning machines, someone with experience working on metal components. Able to accurately use micrometers, and be flexible enough to work the rotating shift pattern.
