We are looking for experienced CNC setter/operators who are looking to expand their skills, learn new machines and can commit to a rotating shift within a busy aerospace company in Wigston.
What you will be doing:
- Initially operating machinery to produce high-end intricate aerospace components.
- Training on how to set specific CNC machines.
- Using micrometers to ensure the component matches the drawing.
- Working to both quality and production targets.
Initial Training:
- Initial training is on fixed days (average 2 – 4 weeks), then moved to the rotating shift pattern.
- During training, the pay is £15.19, then once on the weekend pattern, it moves up to £18.99.
To be considered:
- A strong background as a setter/operator on Milling or Turning machines.
- Experience working on metal components.
- Able to accurately use micrometers.
- Flexible enough to work the rotating shift pattern.
