Solvit Recruitment are looking for HGV Class 1 ADR Driver. Location Bootle. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. Working Monday to Friday start times between 04:00 – 07:00 with the option of weekends when required. Average 10 hours per day.

Rate of Pay:

  • Monday to Friday £16.50, overtime paid after 40 hours at £24.75
  • Saturday £24.75
  • Sunday £33.00

Working for a UK market leader for hazardous and specialist waste who operates a Total Waste Management division, which offers a full-service solution from site visits and sampling to container supply and transportation. You will have collections throughout your working day; every day will be different and can be long hours. Night out may be required, for which you will receive a night out allowance.

This is a varied role where you can be on the Class 1 or the Tanker, but flexibility is expected across the fleet to include curtainsider. Ensuring full compliance with all current regulations concerning the transportation of hazardous waste materials. You may be in a Tanker or a Curtain Sider, so experience in both is essential.

Requirements:

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Tanker driver experience.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, oral and written.
  • Complete all paperwork.
  • 2 years C&E experience.
  • In date ADR certificate.
  • CPC and Tacho.
  • No DR, DD, TT or IN10.
