A family-owned engineering firm, going strong for over 50 years, needs a down to earth HR Assistant.
This is not a corporate office but it is a busy, friendly place with a proper shop floor.
You'll help with:
Recruitment paperwork
Return to work interviews
Training records and compliance etc.
Basic payroll (full training given)
You'll suit this if you:
Have worked in or around HR, even if it wasn't your main job
Are easy to get on with and can hold your own
Won't be fazed by shop floor banter or the odd bit of colourful language
Can do extra hours now and then to cover holidays
No CIPD or formal HR qualifications needed. Personality matters more here.
