The predicted salary is between 38000 - 46000 £ per year.

We are looking for experienced CNC setter/operators who are looking to expand their skills, learn new machines and can commit to a rotating shift within a busy aerospace company in Wigston.

What you will be doing:

  • Initially operating machinery to produce high-end intricate aerospace components.
  • Training on how to set specific high-end CNC machines.
  • Using micrometers to ensure the component matches the drawing.
  • Working to both quality and production targets.

Shift rotation:

  • Days – Monday to Thursday 05:45 – 13:45, Friday 05:45 – 10:45
  • Afternoon – Monday to Thursday 13:45 – 21:45, Friday 10:45 – 15:45
  • Nights – Monday to Thursday 21:45 – 05:45, Friday 15:45 – 20:45

Your initial training is on fixed days (average 2 – 4 weeks), then moved to the rotating shift pattern. While training, you will be on £15.19, then once on the rotating pattern moved up to £18.30.

Even though you will be trained on new CNC machinery, we are only looking for people with a strong background as a setter/operator.
