As a Vehicle Appraiser, you will:

  • Assess part-exchange vehicles, considering condition, mileage, and history.
  • Use industry-standard tools and software to accurately value vehicles.
  • Communicate vehicle valuations clearly to the sales team.
  • Test drive vehicles to identify any mechanical issues.
  • Select suitable retail stock from part-exchange vehicles.
  • Manage the disposal of vehicles not retained for resale, including paperwork and auction logistics.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in vehicle appraisal or a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Experience using appraisal software and auction platforms.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
