We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative/Van Driver with Reach truck and Counterbalance operating experience to join a modern and friendly production company based in Rugby. If you are looking for a varied role where each week will differ, this could be the role for you!
This is a job share role where you will rotate duties each week:
- Week 1: multi-skilled warehouse/van driving duties: booking in inbound stock, picking orders, operating the reach truck and counterbalance and driving a flatbed van across the Midlands – moving stock between subsidiaries, deliveries and collections to/from customers.
- Week 2: Production Operative duties: Operating the punch presses within the warehouse/factory.
What the perfect candidate looks like:
- Age 21+ for van insurance – maximum 3 points
- Previous experience and proof of training on Reach Truck and Counterbalance (in house or external accepted)
- Confident driver – a large chunk of this role will be out on the roads, travelling across the Midlands.
- Proactive and self-motivating – you will be provided your duties for the day and then left alone to get the job done!
- A team player – you will be working with a few different departments and working a job share role
- Friendly and presentable as you will be liaising with customers
