We are looking for an experienced NDT technician who knows their way around visual, dimensional & fluorescent penetrant inspection techniques to join a busy and expanding aerospace company that is leading the way in Leicester.
The main responsibilities for this role will have you carrying out visual, dimensional, airflow & fluorescent penetrant inspections on industrial & aerospace components, along with carrying out your standard inspections using micrometers, verniers, CMM operating etc.
Rotating shift times:
- Days (Mon to Thurs 05:45 - 13:45, Friday 05:45-10:45)
- Late (Mon to Thurs 13:45 - 21:45, Fridays 10:45 - 15:45)
- Night (Mon to Thursday 21:45 - 05:45, Friday 15:45 - 20:45)
Your initial training is on fixed days (average 2 - 4 weeks), then moved to the rotating shift pattern. While training you will be on £15.32 then once on rotating pattern moved up to £18.54.
What is needed from you?
- FPI certification either level 1 or level 2.
- Previous experience as an NDT inspector.
- Experience operating CMM machines & inspection equipment.
- Previous experience working to micron tolerances.
