Solvit Recruitment are looking for Multi Drop Van Drivers.

We are looking for an experienced business Multi Drop Van driver with good knowledge of the Leicestershire area.

This is a short temp to perm 4 weeks, followed by a full time job, paid weekly.

You will have your own set route of deliveries up to 80 and collections (Parcels) from business users in the Leicestershire area, which will include the city centre, you will have excellent communication skills oral and written and have pride in your work.

Your first week you will be teamed up with another driver learning the route and the processes.

You will have experience as a multi-drop van driver, and you will have no more than 6 points, we are looking for a driver that will have excellent customer skills.

You will be given your daily route and schedules which you will follow in a timely manner, your collections you will have to load, some loads maybe up to 30kg.

This will be Monday to Friday with a 07:30 – 17:30 When full time you will have 1-4 Saturdays, which will be 07:00 – 12:00.

Average hours 47.5 per week.

Rate of Pay.

Monday to Friday £13.00 per hour.

Yearly from £32.110.

Requirements UK Driving licence with over 1 years commercial driving.

Manual licence.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

Previous multi-drop business experience essential.

Follow all traffic laws and regulations.

Excellent communication oral and written.

Excellent customer service essential.

Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.

No more than 6 points.

No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years.
