Solvit Recruitment are looking for Multi Drop Van Drivers. This is not a self-employed role, Payee only. You will be provided a van when working. This is a short temp to perm 4 weeks, followed by a full-time job, paid weekly. You will have your own set route of deliveries and collections (parcels) from business users to general households in the Leicestershire area. You will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and take pride in your work.
Your first week you will be teamed up with another driver learning the route and the processes. You will have experience as a multi-drop van driver, and you will have a clean licence and not served a ban in the last 5 years. As you will be dealing with customers, we are looking for a driver that will have excellent customer skills. You will be given your daily route and schedules which you will follow in a timely manner. Your collections will require loading, with some loads being up to 30kg.
This will be Monday to Friday with a 07:30 – 17:30 schedule. When full-time, you will have 1-4 Saturdays which will be 07:00 – 12:00. Bonus available. Average hours are 47.5 per week.
- Rate of Pay: Monday to Friday £13.00 per hour. Weekly £617.50. Yearly from £32,110 + £1200 Bonus.
Requirements:
- UK Driving Licence with over 1 year commercial driving experience.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Previous multi-driving experience.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years.
