Solvit Recruitment are looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver. This is a temp to perm position; after 13 successful weeks, you will be offered a permanent role. Average hours are under 50 per week. Solvit recruitment is currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to work with a busy food supplier. This role is physical as you will be handballing food into restaurants with the help of a drivers mate. Every day is a different route, which can be up to 12 drops; however, some days are less. If you are in the class 1, this may just be trunking.

You will have excellent customer service skills, as you will build relationships with your customers. This will be Monday to Friday with start times between 07:00 – 09:30, and shifts can be up to 10 hours.

Rate of Pay: This is weekly pay of £700. (When full time you will be paid monthly).

Requirements:

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Previous multi-driving experience
  • Due to Insurance, you will be 25+
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication oral and written
  • Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries
  • 1-year HGV Class 2 experience
  • No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years
