We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter who can take on a lead fitter's role within a company that sells and installs 4 post vehicle lifting equipment. This is a key role for this client and one that will involve you travelling the UK with a small team, installing 4 post vehicle lifting equipment into commercial, domestic, and even VIP homes.
There will be a mixture of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic work plus some diagnostic, inspection, and even commissioning. Yes, there are times where you will need to go out to previous installs and put right any issues left by former engineers. There will be extensive travel around the UK (fully funded) and overnight stops away during the week where needed.
The perfect person will have the following:
- Superb electrical/mechanical/hydraulic competence.
- HND/NVQ in engineering/BTEC.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Positive, self-motivated, and customer-facing.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
This role offers you:
