We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with a strong electrical bias for a small engineering company in Rugby. This is an office-based role working alongside the pre-sales teams.
You will be using Auto-CAD, E-Plan and working with existing drawings of electrical cables, connectors and junction boxes. The idea of this role is to support the pre-sales team and provide drawings for quotations based on what is / isn’t possible taking into account bill of materials and time scales.
There will be telephone calls to other departments within the business, emails too and from as well as some collaboration. This client produces electrical products for new home builds, so candidates with experience with UK wiring regulations are of particular interest.
We are only looking for candidates that have paid work experience within electrical design, a good understanding of AutoCAD and people who are local to Rugby (there is no way that this role can be completed via remote).
This role offers you:
