Solvit Recruitment are currently looking for a HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers.
This role is on-going role.
We are working with a local authority who are looking for HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers; you will drive a refuse collection vehicle supplied by the Authority to carry out designated duties. These duties are to ensure that all waste streams (including Trade Waste) are collected.

Hours of work between Monday to Friday, 4 out of 5 days. 37 hours per week.
You will be given an Induction and driving assessment followed by an interview, and then you will be given your shift rota.
Start time from 07:00 – 16:45 Paid 9.25 hours per shift.
Rate of Pay, £15.31 per hour or Rolled up with holiday pay £17.16 per hour.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Understand Health & Safety.· Comply with all Site Safety Instructions relating to all landfill sites, waste transfer stations and recycling merchant sites.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
Excellent communication oral and written.
Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries. HGV Class 2 experience, minimum 1 year.
No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years.
Work reference from a recent employer.
