Join Solvi Digital as a Business Development Manager and take ownership of new business growth across the UK. This is a front-line role focused on identifying, creating, and closing opportunities with manufacturers, distributors, and industrial brands. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline, starting conversations, and turning them into long-term client relationships. We are looking for someone who is commercially driven, comfortable with outbound activity, and motivated by winning new business. This role suits someone who enjoys the challenge of opening doors, controlling conversations, and closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a consistent outbound pipeline across target industrial sectors in the UK and Europe
- Identify, research, and prioritise high-value prospects (manufacturers, distributors, industrial brands)
- Execute outreach (telephone prospecting)
- Manage LinkedIn, email, and video prospecting
- Book and lead discovery calls with senior decision-makers
- Qualify opportunities based on fit, budget, and commercial potential
- Develop tailored proposals in collaboration with the internal team
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact through to close
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting
- Work closely with marketing to refine messaging, targeting, and campaigns based on real market feedback
- Represent Solvi Digital confidently in meetings, events, and industry conversations
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in a business development, sales, or new business role (agency experience preferred)
- Proven track record of generating pipeline and closing new business, not just managing inbound leads
- Comfortable with outbound sales activity, including cold calling and proactive prospecting
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify real opportunities quickly
- Confident in communicating with senior stakeholders in industrial or B2B environments
- Ability to run structured discovery calls and control conversations
- Self-sufficient and disciplined, with strong ownership of targets and performance
- Experience using CRM systems (Pipedrive preferred)
- Clear, professional communication skills in both written and verbal formats
- High levels of resilience, consistency, and drive
