Due to our continued success and expansion in the heating sector, we are currently recruiting for an Oil Technician to undertake servicing, commissioning, and warranty works for some of the UK’s leading manufacturers throughout Northern Ireland. The Oil Technician must be able to work both independently and alongside a team of operations and technical staff to achieve project goals. The successful candidate will work across a range of sites including domestic properties, industrial premises, offices, and commercial environments.
The Oil Technician will be responsible for the successful servicing and commissioning of domestic and/or commercial oil heating systems. The role will also involve troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during the servicing process. Ideally, the successful candidate will have breakdown experience; however, full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Servicing and commissioning of domestic/commercial oil heating systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the servicing process
- Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and meets industry standards
- Provide technical support to the operations team and customers
- A full clean driving licence
- OFTEC 101 (OFT10-101) course completion
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Electrical experience
- Commercial experience
- Breakdown experience
- Gas Safe registered (preferred but not essential)
Full uniform supplied. Company phone and tablet. All major tools and equipment provided. Company van. Attractive holiday entitlement. Entry into company pension scheme.
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm, On-call rota.
