We are hiring a hands-on Senior Software Developer (Lead level) to join a growing UK-based team working on scalable backend systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning features end-to-end and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver backend features and systems
- Take ownership from development through to production
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability
- Collaborate with product and technical stakeholders
- Contribute to technical decisions and support other developers
Requirements
- Strong backend development experience with C#/.NET
- Experience with microservices or distributed systems
- Solid understanding of clean code, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and CI/CD
- Strong communication skills and ownership mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience mentoring or leading developers
- Automated testing and Agile experience
Location: UK (1 day per week in Tarporley)
