As a UK Senior Product Manager for the Compression & Advanced Wound Care Dressings portfolios, you will be responsible for implementing the marketing plan and driving the go-to-market strategy. You will also play a lead role in influencing the Global/Region plans to define and drive a local country specific marketing plan to enable strong sales results and ROI.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including and not limited to Region marketing colleagues, Sales, Clinical, Medical Affairs and HEOR teams, to ensure that the Compression and Advanced Wound Care Portfolio product range is well-positioned and resonates with key target audiences within the local market.
Your role will blend strategic thinking with tactical execution to ensure sales attainment. You’ll be an expert in local customer needs and market trends, and you’ll use your insights to help shape Global/Region plans working closely with key stakeholders to ensure local market needs are met to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, lead & execute UK marketing plan
- Create and localise the UK Compression & Advanced Wound Care Portfolio marketing plan ensuring alignment with Global/Region plans.
- Create annual tactical plan to ensure prioritized activities are executed in a timely manner (e.g. educational plan, campaigns, training plan, HEOR, Medical Affairs programmes).
- Lead the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels within the UK&I working closely with EMEA digital colleagues (e.g., online, social media, events) to ensure campaign success.
- Localise and develop sales enablement tools, such as product collateral, competitive argumentation, product demos, and training materials.
- Partner with Clinical/Medical Affairs team to ensure local sales teams are fully equipped and prepared to sell the compression & advanced wound care portfolio value.
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plans for new product launches, including supporting market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
- Lead the UK/I educational needs assessment for Compression and Advanced Wound Care Dressings portfolio working with the Medical Affairs team.
- Work with Region Portfolio, local Sales, Medical Affairs and Clinical teams to define clear product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences within the UK/I market.
- Plan, manage and execute product launch activities from start to finish, ensuring a seamless introduction to the market.
- Collaborate with Region colleagues to ensure local market needs are met.
- Share VOC needs with Medical Affairs team to ensure ongoing research to understand customer pain points, needs, and local behaviours.
- Analyse market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and share with Region colleagues.
- Support the development of local KOLs by working with sales teams and Medical Affairs to ensure a strong local KOL pipeline.
- Track and analyse product performance metrics, including sales, adoption, and customer feedback.
- Use data to identify trends, optimise marketing strategies, and report on the success of product initiatives to leadership through monthly growth programme sessions.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- CIM qualification.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing or related roles (preferably in Medical industry).
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience within the UK Wound Care Market, ideally within Advanced Wound Care and/or Compression.
- Proven experience in managing a complex portfolio and strategically important product launches.
- Strong background in product management, marketing planning & execution.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams (Senior Leaders, Product Managers, Sales, Medical Affairs, Clinical etc.).
- Project Management – Experience leading teams and/or projects to execute the marketing plan.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational & project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Strong presentation skills; confidence to present to a wide range of stakeholders (from Senior Managers to Sales organisation).
- Strong leadership skills. UK&I is a priority market, so ability to relay and champion local needs to senior management.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, customer-friendly messaging.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Adaptability, able to think on your feet and pivot quickly to changing situations.
- Proactive management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- A full UK driving licence is essential, as occasional travel may be required.
Work location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Work Type: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Loughborough HQ 2 days per week)
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic
