The Ireland Finance Manager - Controller will report directly to the EMEA Controller and will be the key contact for several stakeholders within the Country for all Finance matters. The role will interface with Local Governance Leaders, EMEA/Global Finance Leaders and External Finance partners on several topics.
As Finance Manager - Controller, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Supervising the activities of the Local Finance organization
- Producing accurate and timely financial statements (income statement and balances sheet) in accordance with U.S. GAAP and local laws for all the different Legal Entities of Ireland.
- Working closely with the BPO team to ensure smooth transition of assigned activities and resolve gaps and challenges.
- Oversight of the country statutory financial statement preparation for the Irish legal entities.
- Working closely with Treasury organization and Tax operations for country specific matters.
- Managing the timely, clear and concise communication of material items impacting the finance results to Global GSC organization
- Supporting the Finance Global team for any project involving Ireland entities
- Acting as Solventum liaison for audit, tax and financial regulatory bodies
- Supporting the Country Governance team and representing the Finance function in the Leadership team
- Contacting PwC
- Attracting, developing, and retaining talent
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university
- 7-10 years of experience with Finance Organization and 3 years in accounting process
- Leadership experience in managing/coordinating teams
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Ability to build and maintain strong collaboration with different stakeholders at all levels
- Pragmatic, result oriented with strong bias towards executing with speed, agility and quality
- Outstanding integrity, initiative and passion
- Knowledge of SAP & Oracle environment
- Fluent English
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience in the MedTech Industry
- Knowledge of any EMEA language (other than English)
