Overview
Solvit Recruitment are on the lookout for an Experienced Yard Foreman.
This is a permanent, part-time role, working Monday to Friday 15:00 – 20:00, for an established parcel company that specialises in next day parcel and pallet.
Responsibilities
- Manage around 40 staff from warehouse to HGV drivers; lead by example and from the front.
- Assist with FLT loading and unloading when necessary.
- Prepare handover for the back-shift Foreman.
- Ensure everything runs smoothly and adheres to health and safety across warehouse operations.
- Move vehicles in the yard and upskill to a HGV Class 2 licence as required.
