Solvit Recruitment are looking for Multi Drop Van Drivers. This is a Temp to Perm position. We are looking for an experienced business Multi Drop Van driver with good knowledge of the Leicestershire area.

You will have your own set route, which you will have up to 80 deliveries in the morning and collections in the afternoon. You will be delivering and collecting from business users in the Leicestershire area, which will include the city centre. You will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and take pride in your work.

Your first week you will be teamed up with another driver learning the route and the processes. You will have experience as a multi-drop van driver for a minimum of 1 year, and you will have no more than 6 points on your licence. We are looking for a driver that will have excellent customer skills.

You will be given your daily route and schedules that you will follow in a timely manner. Your afternoon collections will require you to load, with some loads being up to 30kg. This position will be Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:30. When full time, you will have 1-4 Saturdays, which will be from 07:00 to 12:00. Average hours are 47.5 per week.

Rate of Pay:

  • Monday to Friday: £13.00 per hour
  • Weekly: £617.50
  • Yearly: from £32,110

Requirements:

  • UK Driving licence with over 1 year of commercial driving experience
  • Over 25 due to insurance purposes
  • Manual licence
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years
  • Full-time job
