Do you want to have ownership in a startup building something people want with significant traction? This is your chance to join a rocket ship!

About the role

We are looking for a smart, high-agency individual with frontend-leaning software engineering experience to lead our product growth efforts. You’ll operate at the intersection of engineering, product, and marketing. You’ll work across the full range of metrics, including product usage analysis, product engagement, user acquisition, pipeline optimization, and more.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Product usage analysis: Use dashboards (Posthog, Grafana, Datadog, etc.) to analyze usage behaviour and patterns, and then use that to (1) steer our top-of-funnel growth marketing and (2) drive engagement across our existing customer base.
  • Top-of-funnel optimization: Come up with novel ways to build top-of-funnel pipeline, and run creative experiments to build top-of-funnel (embed product features in SEO blog posts, track the performance of our paid ads, conferences, events, etc.).
  • Usage optimization: Develop workflows to flag unengaged users and experiment with strategies to drive more engagement.
  • Metric strategy: Work with us to define the key metrics we should be optimizing for.
  • Revenue & pipeline optimization: Help us optimize each step in our pipeline pre- and post-sale.

Who you’ll work with

You’ll work with a talented team including:

  • Sanj (Chief Research Officer and co-founder): Sanj did his MSci in Physics at the University of Cambridge and his PhD in AI at the Gatsby Unit, UCL. He won awards at top AI conferences, worked on the R&D team at Huawei, and received widespread attention for his contributions to open-source LLM GitHub projects.
  • Chris (Chief Executive Officer and co-founder): Chris did his undergrad at Imperial College, masters at the University of Cambridge, and PhD at UCL, during which he published 10+ publications and won awards in top AI conferences and journals.
  • Angus (Chief Technology Officer and co-founder): Angus did an MEng in Computer Science at the University of Bristol where he won a cyber security scholarship at GCHQ before working at Qualcomm.

What you bring

As our Founding Growth Engineer, you will be a driven, ambitious, and high-agency individual looking to have a big impact on the trajectory of a fast-growing AI startup’s product and growth. You might be a technical ex-founder or software engineer looking for high autonomy and the opportunity to have a significant impact.

Must haves:

  • Strong frontend-leaning engineering skills.
  • Strong product sense.
  • Interest in growth and the business side of things.

Preferred haves:

  • Experience with product analytics tools (e.g. Posthog, Datadog, Grafana, etc.).
  • Experience with launching or growing products.

What we offer

  • Competitive base salary depending on skill and experience.
  • Equity; we want you to take ownership in Solve Intelligence and share in the success that lies ahead.
  • Full visa sponsorship.
  • Opportunity to work with a super smart and ambitious group of people building something people want.
