About the role
We are looking for a super smart and talented Patent Litigator to lead and build out our patent litigation capability as we launch Charts, our new patent litigation product. You’ll be joining the most lean, talent-dense, and fast-moving legal team in London. You’ll be responsible for:
- Conducting infringement and validity analysis across technical domains
- Advising on litigation risk and developing strategic recommendations for clients using the platform
- Working directly with engineering and AI teams to shape how Charts handles litigation workflows
- Supporting patent prosecution-to-litigation handoffs across the IP lifecycle
- Contributing to product development by translating litigation expertise into platform features
- Managing relationships with outside counsel and coordinating multi-jurisdictional matters
About you
As our founding Patent Litigator, you will have extensive experience handling complex patent disputes through associate or senior associate roles at top-tier litigation firms.
- 3+ years of experience as an associate or senior associate in patent litigation
- Technical background — ideally a patent attorney who moved into patent litigation (technical field agnostic: life sciences, electronics, mechanical, etc.)
- Super smart, hard working, and high agency — the kind of person who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Experience at elite patent litigation firms (e.g. Quinn Emanuel, Kirkland)
