About the role
We are looking for super-talented full-stack engineers to help us build both the front-end and back-end of our products extremely fast. You’ll be joining the most lean, talent-dense, and fast-moving engineering team in London. You’ll be responsible for:
- Building the foundations of Solve Intelligence. You’ll be building the core, scalable foundations of our backend for a huge market - from the ground up.
- Developing our user interface. You’ll be helping us plan, build, and iterate on our front-end UX.
- Planning the product roadmap based on customer feedback. You’ll need to help us extract insights from customer meetings to determine what we need to build to find product-market fit as quickly as possible.
- Assembling a world-class engineering team. You’ll partner with our founding team to build, scale, and set the culture of our engineering team.
About Solve Intelligence
We’re the fastest growing startup building AI products to transform how IP professionals work. We’re building an AI-powered end-to-end platform to help with every aspect of invention harvesting, patent generation, and IP portfolio management. One year since we started Solve Intelligence as three hackers building cool stuff with AI, we’re growing super fast. Our revenue is increasing 20-30%+ month-on-month, and we’re now selling to 100+ IP teams across the US, Europe, Asia, and South America. - Angus (Chief Technology Officer and co-founder): Angus did an MEng in Computer Science at the University of Bristol.
- Justin (Founding Member of Technical Staff): Justin studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and law at Georgetown University Law Center.
- Daniel (Founding Full-Stack Engineer): Daniel studied Computing at Imperial College London.
- Roy (Founding AI Engineer): Roy studied Computer Science and Biology at Tel Aviv University.
- Harry (Founding Member of Technical Staff): Harry studied Physics at the University of Bristol and then Robotics at King’s College London.
- Tom (Founding Full-Stack Engineer): Tom did his undergrad in physics at Imperial.
What you bring
As our founding full-stack engineer, you will have extensive experience building software to solve impressively difficult problems through past projects, designs, or GitHub contributions.
- Must haves: Expert in Python. Experience with databases (Postgres). Familiarity with front-end and back-end development and full-stack frameworks.
- Preferred haves: Experience with Web Development (Typescript/React). Experience building and scaling commercial software.
- Nice to haves: Experience working with WYSIWYG HTML document editor APIs (e.g. TinyMCE, CKEditor 5). Experience with AWS DevOps tooling. IT security awareness. Experience with AI.
