We’re looking for a highly motivated and results-driven German speaking Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team and play a crucial role in our continued growth.
Solvace is a rapidly growing SaaS company revolutionising Operational Excellence with our Digital OpEx platform. We help manufacturers unlock the power of their people, their shop floors and their OpEx Initiatives through a connected digital approach.
Role Overview
As a BDM, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, responsible for generating qualified leads and building a strong pipeline for our Sales Managers.
You will be a self-driven individual, consistently exceeding targets through proactive outreach, strategic communication, and a deep understanding of our product and target market. You’ll be a master of multi-channel engagement, leveraging email, phone, and social selling to connect with and qualify prospects.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Qualification:
Identify and research potential leads within our target market using various tools and resources.
Qualify leads based on established criteria, ensuring alignment with our ideal customer profile.
Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to generate qualified opportunities.
Conduct high-volume cold calling, email campaigns, and social outreach to engage prospects.
Craft compelling email sequences and personalised messages that resonate with target audiences.
Utilise social selling techniques on platforms like LinkedIn to build relationships and generate interest.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities in our CRM system (HubSpot).
Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for Sales Managers.
Nurture leads through consistent follow-up and engagement.
Performance & Reporting:
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified opportunities.
Monitor and analyse outreach performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Provide regular reports on activity and results to sales management.
Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS platform and its value proposition.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
Effectively communicate the benefits of our product to potential customers.
Self-Driven Performance:
Proactively seek out new leads and opportunities.
Take ownership of your performance and consistently strive for improvement.
Independently problem solve and overcome obstacles.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving results.
Skills and Experience
1+ years of experience in a sales or business development role (SaaS experience preferred).
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices.
Proficiency in using CRM systems (HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
Experience with cold calling, email marketing, and social selling.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and self-driven.
A strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced SaaS environment.
A positive attitude and a passion for sales.
