Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a client-side role with variety and impact? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading national organisation with a busy pipeline of development and refurbishment projects that directly improve environments for children, young people, and staff.
What You’ll Do
- Lead projects from acquisition/brief through to handover, managing external consultants and contractors.
- Carry out site appraisals, space planning layouts, and budget cost plans.
- Manage planning applications and approvals in collaboration with the acquisitions team.
- Oversee design development, procurement strategies, and contract administration (JCT).
- Deliver projects ranging from £100k to £5m, ensuring quality, safety, and budget control.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership through structured project review processes.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years’ experience delivering development and construction projects.
- Track record of managing schemes £100k–£5m in value (education, fit-out, residential, or refurbishment experience desirable).
- Strong background with JCT contracts and contract administration.
- Degree (Construction/Surveying/Project Management) and ideally chartered (RICS/CIOB).
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Flexible to travel across the UK as required.
