We are expanding our Sexual Health Service in Doncaster and are seeking experienced, compassionate HIV Clinical Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team supporting approximately 500 people living with HIV. This is a varied and autonomous role delivering high-quality care across outpatient, inpatient and community settings, while contributing to education, prevention and service development.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting newly diagnosed patients, including partner notification
- Managing a caseload of patients living with HIV
- Administering treatment and performing venepuncture
- Contributing to MDT discussions and care planning
- Providing psychosocial support and health promotion
- Supporting safeguarding and women’s health (including antenatal care)
- Delivering training to professionals and partner agencies
About You
- RGN or RM with current NMC registration
- Post-registration qualification in HIV care
- Mentorship/training qualification
- Strong knowledge of HIV treatment, prevention and national guidance
- Confident working autonomously with sound clinical judgement
- Committed to high-quality, inclusive and patient-centred care
