As a part Time Lettings Negotiator you will be joining a friendly professional team so must be able to multitask at all levels and keep accurate detailed records, good customer care techniques, good at being able to communicate with a wide variety of people both face to face, over the phone and via email. Industry experience is not essential although would be a strong advantage.
There would be a minimum of two days a week required, these days will fall over Thursday, Friday and or Saturday. Opening hours 9:00am – 5:00pm with 30 minutes for lunch. Saturday hours are 9:00am – 3:00pm (we pay for a full day). Our client is looking for flexibility and there are potentially extra hours available.
The role is predominantly in the Haywards Heath branch, but there may be cover required in one of our client’s other local sites.
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (pro rata)
- Carry out property viewings with potential tenants
- Negotiate the property to be let to the right tenant for the best market value
- Confident with the use of Outlook, Word, training will be offered for our internal database
- Administrative tasks, such as letter writing, sending application forms to tenants, sending emails and filing
- Assisting with updating the website advert
- Assisting with end of tenancy check out procedure
- Following up leads
- Advising tenants and landlords of changes in the letting law (training will be given)
- Assisting with some basic maintenance issues
