We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to provide specialist network engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud), advanced networking technologies and BGP routing.
Experience with Celestica SONiC is highly desirable; however, candidates with experience of other enterprise or community SONiC distributions will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SONiC based networking environments
- Troubleshoot and optimise Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure
- Configure and support BGP routing
- Support Software VPN implementations
- Diagnose and resolve network issues in a fast-paced project environment
Essential Skills
- Hands-on experience with SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud)
- Strong understanding of advanced networking principles
- Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting BGP
- Experience with Software VPN technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Celestica SONiC
- Experience with Dell Enterprise SONiC or other enterprise/community SONiC distributions
- Linux networking
- EVPN/VXLAN
- FRRouting (FRR)
- Experience with white-box switching platforms
- Data centre networking experience
