Role: We are searching for an IT Deployment Engineer to support a mixture of desktop and laptop deployments for a client based near Widnes, Cheshire. Aside from having a good technical grasp of desktop and deployment activities, excellent customer service skills are required as you will be interacting with users in a face-to-face capacity providing a white-glove service, as well as engaging with internal IT too.
Main Duties
- Deploy and install PCs and laptops at end-user desks
- Unbox, set up, and connect equipment
- Carry out basic cable management and desk configuration
- Asset tag equipment and accurately record deployment details
- Adhere to deployment schedules and site-specific processes
- Liaise with site leads and end users as required
