We are seeking an experienced Information Security Cloud Consultant / Architect for an initial 3 month engagement, supporting the design, assurance and implementation of secure multi-cloud environments across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
The role will provide specialist security architecture consultancy and independent design assurance for new cloud-based services and solutions, including cloud environments supporting the client's developing AI strategy, AI services and data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide security architecture consultancy across AWS and Azure projects.
- Review and assure cloud solution designs against security standards, policies and architecture principles.
- Develop secure reference architectures, patterns and guardrails for multi-cloud environments.
- Support the secure design of environments for AI services, data platforms, experimentation and production AI workloads.
- Conduct security design reviews across cloud applications, services and infrastructure.
- Identify security risks and provide practical, proportionate remediation recommendations.
- Embed security-by-design principles throughout project delivery.
- Ensure effective integration between cloud-native security services and existing enterprise security capabilities.
- Produce clear security architecture, assurance and governance outputs.
- Work closely with enterprise architects, cloud engineers, project teams, third-party suppliers and managed service providers.
Experience
- Strong Cloud Security Architecture experience within complex enterprise environments.
- In-depth security experience across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Multi-cloud security architecture, controls, patterns and guardrails.
- Cloud IAM, network security, data protection, encryption, logging and monitoring.
- Cloud-native security tooling and enterprise security integration.
- Security architecture and assurance for cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure.
- Strong security risk assessment and remediation experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
Desirable
- Security architecture experience supporting AI/ML platforms and services.
- Securing AI workloads, data platforms and AI data pipelines.
- AWS and Azure AI services.
- Cisco enterprise security technologies.
- Zero Trust architecture and Infrastructure as Code (Ia C).
