Electrical Engineer – HV Energy & Renewables
Location: Crawley (Southern England)
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Private health care, Training & Devlopment, Chartership support

Here is a role to join a growing engineering business delivering large-scale projects across the energy, power and renewables sectors. You’ll be involved in projects from initial design through to installation, commissioning and handover, working alongside experienced engineering teams and clients across Southern England.
You can expect a varied role, exposure to complex HV projects, and ongoing support with training, upskilling and career progression.
The Role
- Design HV/LV systems, schematics and single-line diagrams.
- Carry out power system studies and protection coordination.
- Support GIS/AIS substation commissioning.
- Specify equipment and prepare technical documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors and engineering teams.
- Manage technical queries, project progress and handover.
What They’re Looking For
- Experience in HV energy or renewables.
- Knowledge of substations and electrical design.
- Willingness to travel across Southern England.
