Are you a practical Engineer with strong mechanical, electrical, and CAD skills looking for a varied hands‑on project role in manufacturing?
Our client is looking for a Project Engineer to plan, manage, and deliver engineering projects that boost manufacturing capability, machinery reliability, quality, and safety on site.
You'll suit this role if you're a proactive problem solver with experience managing site contractors, implementing machinery modifications, and taking projects from concept through to commissioning.
The Role
- Leading engineering projects from initial concept through to installation and commissioning
- Developing technical specifications and CAD drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives (RCA) to increase machine uptime and reduce waste
The Candidate
- Proven track record delivering engineering projects and machinery modifications within a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in producing and interpreting technical drawings using CAD software
- Strong background in Root Cause Analysis, and continuous improvement practices
