We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated, and dynamic individual to join our team as a Service Manager. This role is ideal for someone who has the skills and passion to lead and manage a complex mental health supported living service.

About the Role

As Service Manager, you will have the responsibility for the effective day‑to‑day operation of the service. You will oversee the coordination of new referrals and assessments, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure individuals receive high‑quality, person‑centred support and care. You will provide leadership and management to a team of Support Workers and the Senior Support Worker, offering clear direction, supervision, and ongoing support. A key aspect of the role is ensuring the service consistently meets all regulatory requirements, maintaining full compliance with CQC standards and promoting best practice across all areas of service delivery.

About the Service

Abbots Grange is an 11 bed mixed sex scheme with a combination of self‑contained flats and shared living. The people we support are allocated a key worker and will be supported in a recovery‑led way, incorporating tools such as Recovery Stars, weekly planners and budget planning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 5 (or higher), or equivalent qualification
  • A management qualification, or willingness to work towards one
  • Experience supporting adults with complex or challenging behaviours from a management perspective
  • Previous supervisory or management experience within the care sector
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in people’s lives
  • Self‑motivated, empathetic, and able to lead a team effectively

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, including a check against the barred list where applicable.
