  • We are currently recruiting for an experienced

HVAC Designer to join a growing construction and building services business based in Gloucestershire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HVAC Designer with strong

Revit and CAD experience to work on a range of commercial and industrial projects, developing detailed HVAC designs from concept through to construction.

You'll work in a superb team as a HVAC Designer, collaborating, sharing ideas and information where necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed

HVAC designs, layouts and technical drawings using Revit and CAD.

  • Develop HVAC systems for new-build and refurbishment projects.
  • Undertake and/or support heating and cooling load calculations and system sizing.
  • Select appropriate HVAC equipment and components.
  • Coordinate mechanical designs, structural and other M&E services.
  • Produce design documentation, specifications and associated technical information.
  • Review designs during construction and assist with resolving technical/site issues.
  • Attend project meetings and liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant

UK Building Regulations, CIBSE guidance and industry standards .

  • Assist with the development and improvement of internal design standards and processes.
  • Manage multiple projects and design deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

About You

The ideal candidate will have

  • Proven experience in

HVAC/Mechanical Design within the building services or construction sector.

  • Strong

Revit experience, ideally Revit MEP.

  • Good working knowledge of

Auto CAD/CAD .

  • A strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical building services.
  • Experience producing professional technical drawings and design documentation.
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors and internal teams.
