Showroom Coordinator - CNC Machine Tools

Location: Coventry
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Benefits: Company car, pension, holidays, BUPA cover, health insurance.

The Role

We're looking for a technically minded Showroom Coordinator to take ownership of a large, high-spec CNC machine tool showroom in Coventry.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing technical position where you'll coordinate machine installations, servicing, demonstrations, applications support and showroom activity.

You'll work closely with Sales, Applications, Engineering, Marketing and OEM customers to ensure every machine is ready to demonstrate at any time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the day-to-day running and upkeep of the CNC showroom.
  • Ensure all machines are operational, maintained, detailed and ready for demonstrations.
  • Set up and run machine demonstrations and test cuts for customers.
  • Programme and set machines, confidently explaining their capabilities to customers.
  • Coordinate machine installations, servicing and applications requirements.
  • Coordinate showroom open days with Engineering, Marketing and Sales.
  • Support OEM and major customer relationships, including growing work with companies such as Rolls-Royce.
  • Manage machine layouts and coordinate incoming stock machines.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong CNC milling experience - milling is preferred, with some turning experience.
  • Ability to programme and set CNC machines.
  • Experience with Siemens, Heidenhain, Fanuc or Mitsubishi controls.
  • Confident communicating technical information to customers.
  • Genuine engineering background rather than purely production-based experience.
  • Strong communication skills and enthusias
