A European manufacturer & distributor of rigging, truss and staging equipment supplying into the events industry.
This is a field-based, new business focused role covering the UK with focus on driving new business opportunities with rental houses, production companies and venues with a strong focus on building lasting relationships.
Duties
- Outreach to potential clients via cold calling, door knocking and utilising your own network.
- Build and manage long-term client relationships.
- Conduct client visits and attend industry events.
- Generate and follow up on quotations.
- Identify new market opportunities.
- Represent the business at events when required.
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape UK growth strategy.
- Attend Yorkshire based office for team meetings where required.
Skills / Experience
- Proven B2B sales / business development experience within the events industry or similar (Essential).
- Experience selling into events, production, rental or live environments and a good understanding of the target market.
- Knowledge of rigging, truss or staging equipment (preferred).
- Technically minded with industry credibility.
- Relationship-focused – not pushy, consultative approach.
- Comfortable with door knocking and proactive prospecting.
- Full UK driving licence.
Package
- Basic salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (flexible for outstanding candidates).
- Commission / Bonuses.
- Company vehicle or car allowance.
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays.
