My client is an established, well-known company within the hydraulic industry. With over 50 years trading history, they specialise in providing a multi-service model to their clients across the hydraulic sector – being able to design, manufacture, service and install hydraulic systems. Due to an exciting period of growth, they are now looking to add a Pipefitter Welder to their Field Service team. You will be tasked with pipework fabrication, installation, welding and flushing across projects.

Office is based in Leeds. Role can be anywhere across the UK. £35,000 - £40,000 DOE, Overtime, van, pension and mobile. Extensive career progression.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Pipework fabrication and installation.
  • Carrying out cold bending using correct formers and mandrels.
  • Ensuring piping route is complete to a high quality.
  • Installing clamps and supports.
  • Performing TIG welding.
  • Working to specific BS standards.
  • Flushing, cleaning and system cleanliness.
  • Chemical cleaning (degreasing, drying).
  • Acting as site technical authority.
  • Testing, commissioning and quality assurance.
  • Ensuring standards are high.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

  • 5 years experience in pipefitting/welding.
  • Strong knowledge of pipe boring, TIG welding and installation.
  • Experience in flushing, cleaning and cleanliness of hydraulic systems.
  • Experience in supervising subcontractors.
  • Previously working in heavy industrial environments.
  • Knowledge and experience of working to BS standards.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Full UK driving licence.
